Project Update: Advancing Infrastructure in the Armidale Region with Tobco

We are making notable progress on our significant infrastructure initiative in the Armidale region, centred around the upgrade and replacement of three pivotal bridges: Boorolong Creek Bridge, Bakers Creek Bridge, and Laura Creek Bridge. As part of our ongoing commitment to the Armidale Regional Council and the community, we are dedicated to constructing robust and reliable structures that cater to the future needs of our communities.

Currently, our focus is on the Boorolong Creek Bridge. To ensure uninterrupted connectivity, a temporary bridge has been erected, allowing traffic to continue its usual flow across the creek. With the dismantling of the old bridge now complete, preparations are well underway for the construction of its state-of-the-art successor.

Key to this phase is a temporary crossing, equipped with an 80-tonne piling rig, pivotal for the laying of the new bridge’s foundations. This setup will be dismantled closer to the project’s culmination, paving the way for the final structure.
